When your baby starts to look like they are outgrowing the insert we would recommend starting to remove it in stages. Remove the head hugger section first, followed by the side wings and lastly the main body of the insert.
The Hydro Protect liner can be used whilst your little one is using the 5-point safety harness. Whilst in use, the Hydro Protect liner offers an extra layer of fabric protection and is machine washable at 30°C.
Our car seat fabrics have an easy clean finish to protect against any spills and accidents on the road. The covers of all our seats can be machine washed at 30°C with no detergents, just remember to remove any foams from the inserts prior to washing.

Motion 2 is a fixed ISOFIX car seat, so the base cannot be removed. Our Dream i-Size infant carrier does, however, offer this option and is compatible with a range of Silver Cross prams and strollers. If you are looking to purchase Motion 2 with a travel system for added ease when lifting your little one in and out of the car, it is available to purchase as a bundle alongside a range of Silver Cross prams and strollers.
