Safety is our top priority, testing our seats above and beyond the latest crash test regulations
All of the seats within the Silver Cross collection are tested to the very latest R129 i-Size safety regulations. On top of this we test inline with the more stringent ADAC testing protocols where our seats achieve a number of best in class results. ADAC is an independent German organisation which runs Europe’s largest car seat rating programme.
The Dream infant carrier and base achieved the best score when tested together with the ISOFIX base, offering the best safety for your little one.
Our Dream i-Size car seat has been tested by ADAC and awarded a 'Good' rating with a score of 2.0.

Our frequently asked questions
Yes. The Dream ISOFIX base offers greater convenience, allowing the Dream infant carrier to be easily installed and removed from the vehicle. The risk of fitting an ISOFIX seat incorrectly is far lower, therefore making them safer.
No. The Dream infant carrier should only be fitted with either the vehicle adult seat belt or the Dream i-Size base. It has not been safety tested or approved for use with the Simplifix base.
Dream has a maximum weight limit of 13kg. As the Dream infant carrier is approved to Regulation 129, it also has the i-Size height limit of 85cm, therefore the baby will outgrow the seat at either 13kg or 85cm (whichever comes first).
No. Our infant carriers are not airline approved. Most airlines will offer to put the car seat in the hold for free, collecting it at the gate. Please check with your airlines before travelling
There is a lever in the back of the seat to increase the headrest and harness height – to adjust it, loosen the harness, open the cover at the back of the seat, and fold the black lever toward you, then lift to the desired position. Once the desired position is achieved, ensure you fold the lever back down into the locked position.
